Many authors have defined Waste in various ways such
as “any unavoidable materials resulting from domestic activities or industrial
operational for which there is no economic demand and which must be disposed of”(Shridhar
1996). Odocha (1994) has also defined waste as materials which though may no
longer be needed here but may become a feed stock or raw materials elsewhere.
